A seminar and farewell program held at MIU, English Department
A wonderful seminar on "Women Rights in English Literature," along with a farewell for the outgoing students of the Department of English, was held at Manarat International University. The program was held in the seminar hall on the Permanent Campus, Ashulia, of the university on November 17, 2023 (Friday). Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdus Sabur Khan, the Vice-Chancellor (Acting), attended the program as the chief guest, while Dr. Md. Moazzom Hossain, Registrar, MIU, was the special guest. Ahmad Mahbub-ul-Alam, Head and Associate Professor of the Department of English, was the chair of the program, where Mohammad Nazmul Haque Shikder Shiblu, Assistant Professor and Coordinator, Department of English, Ashulia Campus, spoke on the main theme of the seminar. Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdus Sabur Khan, the chief guest of the program, wished success and prosperity to the outgoing students. He said to the students, I hope you will learn from the famous academics, researchers, writers, poets, and writers who have been talked about through today's seminar. He also mentioned that morality along with quality higher education, is the main spirit of Manarat International University. He expected that the students will become good people with moral values. Syeda Tartila Sanjida, lecturer in the Department of English, conducted the program. At the end of the program, a cultural program was held with the participation of the students of the English department. Comedies, plays and songs are performed in it. The prizes were given to the outgoing students. Career Path was the title sponsor of the event.
