What is MIUEC?

Manarat International University English Club (MUSEC) is a student-run society open to all the students of English who have interest and concentration in English Language and Literature. This is the place where the students come up with their creativity and point up their extraordinary performances.

History

The first appearance of this club in the field of language and literature was highly appreciated in this university under the title “The English Society” when it was established in October 2005. Later, the society’s activities were almost about to sleep. Therefore, some enthusiastic students named by Ibrahim, Yakub, Zinia, Oishi, Jewel, Mahmud, Masum and so on took part to restore “The English Society” in a new name and shape as “The English Club” which succeed in 2011. By the grace of ALLAH, it has started its activities with a new inspiration by the honorable moderatos Farazana Zaman, Md. Afsar Kayum and Tasmia Moslehuddin, the faculty members of the Department of English. In 2013, ‘’The English Club” has been finally launched in the full format of a committee with the presence of the honorable moderator Md. Afsar Kayum, the senior lecturer of the Department of English.
